| Description: | CPAWS Ottawa Valley is hosting a guided snowshoe excursion in Gatineau Park on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 1 PM. We will meet in Parking Lot 15 (directions available at www.cpaws-ov-vo.org) - look for the CPAWS table that will be set up with information and free hot chocolate (please bring your own thermos!). The guided portion of the hike will last approximately 60 minutes, however you are more than welcome to continue on after the CPAWS portion has ended. Please bring snowshoes (we will try to have a few extra pairs on hand), and all necessary gear/clothing. The hike will be suitable for all skill levels and ages- everyone is welcome! Event is by donation only and is open both existing CPAWS members and non-members. |
