Best of the Fest... the Tulip Festival, That Is!

We are so lucky to be home to the tulip festival. It's beautiful, it's colorful, and it's (mostly) free. These are my picks for the Best of the Fest - admission to all of these events is free! LEGO® Community Garden
May 6 to 23 (Closed Mondays)
FUNtasia, Major's Hill Park

Join the only Canadian LEGO® certified professional, Robin Sather, as he builds giant tulip bouquets and helps kids build a beautiful LEGO® flower garden.


Whimsical Tea Party
Saturday, May 7th, 11 am
Festival Central, Major's Hill Park

The Whimsical Tea Party will mark the opening of Festival Central at Major's Hill Park, and will include the Parade of Sound and Color (11 am), lawn games, live interactive entertainment, and a special screening of two animated family classic films, one at 1:30 pm and the other at 8 pm. Mother's Day Garden Party

Majorís Hill Park

Mom will enjoy a garden party, live floral demonstrations, and entertainment on the International Friendship Stage.


Treat Mom to the Classics on Mother's Day

This concert is part of the Mother's Day Garden Party. Enjoy a special sample of well-known classical pieces by the Ottawa Classical Choir.

Join Arthur L'Aventurier for this interactive musical variety show, and be sure to sing along!

This popular children's entertainer has been on Mr. Dressup, YTVís Treehouse, TVOís Crawlspace and the CBC.
