I’ve seen the Arts Court building at 2 Daly Avenue a million times when walking near the Rideau Centre, but until I started Frugal Fun Ottawa I didn’t know what it housed. As I researched various events and activities happening in Ottawa, I kept coming across references to various art exhibits and performances happening there, and I started to get really curious. What, exactly, is Arts Court?

Arts Court is home to the largest and most innovative creative group of Ottawa’s professional arts producers and presenters which includes: the Arts Court Theatre, The Ottawa Art Gallery, the Firestone Gallery, Ottawa Dance Directive, SAW Gallery, SAW Video and Club SAW. It is also home to the headquarters of 25 independent arts organizations.
The building itself is a historic landmark located in the heart of the city. Arts Court continues to evolve as the vibrant hub for Ottawa artists and audiences. You must visit us to experience this exciting fusion of artistic diversity.
I’m excited to do just that – Arts Court Productions are putting on Secrets of a Soccer Mom from July 13th to 30th, and they’ve graciously offered me a set of tickets to the show. They’ve also offered me another set to give away on frugalfish! The winner will get two tickets to the performance on Thursday, July 14th at 8 pm.
