This week in Ottawa:
- Thursday is Taiwan Movie Night at the Ottawa Public Library’s Main Branch;
- The Taiwan Sublime Photo Exhibit continues at the Stittsville and Blackburn Hamlet branches of the Ottawa Public Library;
- The Ottawa Dressage Festival takes place Friday through Sunday at the Nepean National Equestrian Park – admission and parking are free;
- On Saturday the Hintonburg Community Association hosts ArtsPark 2012 in the Parkdale Market park. Activities include free children’s programming and a bike parade;
- Lowes is offering a Kids Build and Grow Clinic on Saturday (build an ice cream truck). Register by calling 613-830-6370 for the Orleans store or 613-836-3971 for the Kanata store;
- Participating Cineplex Theatres are offering family favourites for $2.50/person – this Saturday’s movie is The Muppets Take Manhattan;
- Catch a movie at Rainbow Cinemas at the St. Laurent Centre – this week’s family-friendly showing is Dr. Seuss The Lorax (Almost Frugal); and
