Win tickets to see Rumpelstiltskin at the International Children’s Festival!

Ottawa International Children's FestivalLast year, I added the Ottawa International Children’s Festival to my exclusive Not frugal but worth it! category after B.G. and I attended a terrific performance. This year’s Festival will take place from May 30th to June 3rd, and the lineup of shows and activities is, as always, impressive - I was trying to pick a few favourites but I just couldn’t do it, they all look like so much fun! (I do have to mention that the Mobile Circus School is open to the public for the first time this year. :) 

And… I’m so pleased to have four tickets to give away! The winner will get to see Rumpelstiltskin on Sunday, June 3rd at 10 am. If you’d like to enter to win the tickets, simply visit the Festival website and leave a comment below telling me about which show or activity you think your child would like best. I’ll use random.org to choose a winner on Thursday, May 17th at 7 pm, and contact the winner by email. Please use an email address that you check frequently – if I don’t hear from the winner by Sunday, May 20th at noon, I’ll have to move on to someone else.

    The shows all look great but my child would enjoy the face painting best. Seriously, she once waited more than two hours to have it done (and she wasn’t even three yet!). Pretends to paint her face and Mommy’s too. We’re still totally going to a show though

    Well, this is going to sound suspicious, but it’s actually Rumplestiltskin that I’d most like to take the kids too. My son just did a fairy tale project at school last week and he had to report on one specific story, so he chose Rumplestiltskin at random out of a book we have. I was surprised that none of my three kids had ever heard this story and we talked about it a LOT over the course of the last week. They’re going to be pretty psyched to find out they can watch it in real life!
